Annie Heinrichs is a training and technical assistance specialist in the Research to Action Lab at the Urban Institute. Her work focuses on vaccine confidence, upward mobility, equitable grantmaking, housing stability, and policy change. She provides grant management, training, and technical assistance to operationalize research and to tailor the delivery of information to stakeholders.

Previously, Heinrichs was a project specialist with Public Strategies, providing training and technical assistance to workforce development and family-strengthening programs. Before joining Public Strategies, she was an elementary teacher with Teach for America.

Heinrichs received a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in social innovation and social entrepreneurship from Tulane University, and she holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Oklahoma.
