Taylor Nelson is a research analyst in the Health Policy Center at the Urban Institute. Her research focuses on behavioral health services, mental health, and racial disparities within the health care system. Her recent work explores various actors and sectors in health care and progress toward standardized race and ethnicity data collection.

Nelson graduated from the Catholic University of America with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
