Chris Narducci

Research Associate

Chris Narducci, MUP is a Research Associate with the Metropolitan Housing & Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. His expertise is in affordable housing policy and small business and community development. Mr. Narducci has worked on a wide range of projects, including a policy paper on inclusionary zoning in New York City and a small business development plan for a neighborhood of Gulfport, Mississippi. At the Urban Institute, Mr. Narducci has focused primarily on HUD housing policy and sustainability, including a survey of voucher mobility programs and an examination of characteristics of sustainable and inclusive communities.

Mr. Narducci obtained a Master of Urban Planning degree from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU in 2009, where he was a graduate research assistant at the Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy. There he assisted with several projects, including the annual "State of New York City's Housing and Neighborhoods" report. Mr. Narducci has also written articles on affordable housing development and tenant rights for City Limits Weekly. Prior to graduate school, Mr. Narducci taught with the Teach for America program in New Orleans and worked for a year in FEMA disaster recovery centers following Hurricane Katrina. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History from Washington University in St. Louis in 2003.
