In response to the Biden administration’s Executive Order on Modernizing Regulatory Review, the Urban Institute is hosting an event for federal agency leaders and community organizations to learn more about how the federal government is broadening community participation and contributions to the regulatory review process. The process often includes rules and guidance that can affect people’s daily lives, from eligibility for a government program to vehicle safety. Efforts to seek and include more community voices in this process have been increasing, which the event will showcase.

Please join Urban Institute experts and federal leaders from the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs to present on their efforts to develop tools, resources, and guidance to make it easier for more members of the public to make their voices heard in the regulatory process. Federal agency officials will also share ongoing efforts to expand public participation in the regulatory review process.
