Strategies to Diversify the Health Care Workforce
Body

Join experts from the Urban Institute and the medical and nursing fields to interrogate the disproportionately low number of Black/African American and Hispanic/Latinx physicians and nurses and to discuss strategies, policies, and practices that can help address this issue. This webinar will offer a high-level summary of new research on pathway programs that aim to diversify the health care workforce and a discussion on the types of supports needed for students and professionals as well as broader cultural shifts necessary within institutions and systems.
