Employment at Older Ages

 

One way of relieving the economic pressures of an aging society is to encourage workers to delay retirement. Although older Americans' employment rates have increased over the past 15 years, older men are still less likely to work than a generation ago. Our research examines when people choose to retire, the benefits of working at older ages, and how current policies affect work decisions.
